"Christine from The Harwinton Florist was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator at our venue. We met with Christine for our initial appointment and then once before the wedding to finalize all floral details, and knew from the start that she was the perfect florist for our special day! She was friendly, organized, polite, creative, confident, and professional. I never once felt as if she was "pushing" any ideas on us, but rather she made great suggestions that only added to our special day in a positive way. A few days before the wedding, she called to let me know that one of the flowers we chose was not holding up in the summer heat, so she wanted to work out a back-up plan with me in advance. I'm glad she did this so that there would be no surprises on the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual and brought joy as she delivered the flowers to us, the ceremony site, and the venue as well. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone planning a wedding! She is knowledgeable about her industry, runs a professional business, and cares about her clients. "Christine is AMAZING!! Our wedding was on October 13, 2018, church ceremony at St. Patrick’s and reception at Farmington Gardens. She was part of the recommended vendors for the FG and also was our wedding planners florist so obviously that says a lot already. After meeting with a Christine the first time I knew she was perfect. She went over every detail and brought up things I wouldn’t have even thought of. For someone who doesn’t know much about flowers she had pictures and descriptions and ideas for me after me just telling her the colors I wanted. My bouquet was STUNNING and everything I had ever pictured it brought tears to my eyes when she brought it in. All my girls were in love with their bouquets and the boutonnières were awesome, I don’t think any guy lost or broke theirs which also says a lot because guys don’t pay attention to those things. Christine actually suggested leaving the boutonnières at the church so the Guys wouldnt be taking the jackets on and off so they didn’t have the option of breaking them before the ceremony, which was such a good call. She had worked with both places before so that made it easy since she knew what we would need at each place. She was very accommodating with meetings and times of everything and the flowers also last pretty long after so if you’re on the fence about flowers just do it it’s so worth it!! The pictures with our boutiques were stunning! Everything came together because Christine knew what she was doing, she loves what she does and that shows!"

"My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding day ever thanks to Christine's amazing talent and dedication to her profession and seeing people's visions through. I met with Christine over a year before our wedding and from the minute I walked in, I knew she was the perfect fit for our special day. I told her I knew nothing about flowers and my vision was kind of all over the place. She assured me that she would guide me through the whole process and after a few emails, some picture exchanges and some meetings in person, she brought my crazy and uncertain vision to life. She is so sweet and understanding and puts her clients first. Our wedding was the first weekend in October so we were concerned about an early frost and not being able to have Dahlia's for my bouquet, but she assured me she would do whatever should could to make it happen. I was completely blown away with how beautiful all of the flowers for my wedding were. I wish I could have saved them all. They were spectacular and exactly what I wanted. My guests still tell me how beautiful they were. I would highly recommend Christine & Harwinton Florist to ANY bride, whether you have a vision or not. Christine is amazing at what she does. There is no event too small or too large for me. I have no minimum on price or quantity....if you only need a bouquet, then you only get a bouquet!
"We can not say enough positive things about working with Chris at Harwinton Florist! We were able to meet with Chris numerous times in the year leading up to our wedding and share pinterest boards and ideas as they came up. Chris took the time to ask the right questions to really get a full picture of what our hopes and dreams for the day were and how she could help with our vision. Chris was able to stay within the budget we gave her and gave us many ideas as to how we could stay in that budget.
Chris made our party favors (succulents in a shot glass) and our guests are still raving about them and how they still have it a month later! Our bridal party bouquets and boutineers were amazing and both of our bridal bouquets were unique to each of us and the things we like separately. We highly recommend Chris at Harwinton Florist, you will not be disappointed!!"
